With a grant from The People’s Postcode, Birmingham Airport and other local trusts the Group has purchased and installed a Solar PV System on our HQ building. The system will provide renewable electricity to our facilities, help educate the scouting members of the group about the environment and also offer a source of income via the ‘Feed in Tariff Scheme’ which will contribute to our fundraising activities. The panels were installed in December and we are currently producing electricity!!!
